We would like to share with you the little Paradise we found on the Atlantic coast in the South West corner of Spain.
It incorporates sun, sand and sea in a gloriously sleepy, relatively undeveloped and until recent years, largely isolated region of Spain.
We use our lovely apartment as a base for time out for relaxation and lazing in idyllic weather, on breathtaking beaches, or in our pool or on either of our two terraces depending on the time of day.

We take time out to savour the local food and drink, at competitive European prices, or with the locals at amazing value. We explore the locality both quaint and modern.
We relive some fascinating history, experience excellent value shopping, engage in water sports or tours, or we just chill with a beer at an outdoor cafe and watch the ebb and flow ....... !
Our two bedroom, luxurious, spacious modern apartment is set in El Rincon del Golf, pictured above. This is a well managed, well secured complex with the manager always contactable, either on site or by telephone.
The complex is on an island which forms the initial part of a Spanish coastline known as Costa de la Luz.
This stretches for over 400km of fine, sandy, expansive beaches, renowned as some of the best in Europe, from our Isla Canela, in the provinvce of Huleva, adjacent to southern Portugal, to Huelva city and suburbs, the starting point for Christopher Columbas on his voyage of discovery to the Americas and along the province of Cadiz to Tarifa, the southern most tip of Spain.
El Rincon del Golf adjoins a modern 18-hole golf course and clubhouse. There are special deals for residents.
Besides all of the attractions of a modern, tranquile holiday resort, Costa de la Luz is also a nature lovers paradise. Its birdlife, plants and wetlands are protected by government from the kind of development that has been experienced in other parts of Spain.
The fact that the countryside remains intact except for some designated development areas is thanks also to the relative isolation of the area, until the building of the magnificent suspension bridge around a dozen years ago to link with Portugal. The area also suffered long term damage from the earthquake of the mid nineteenth century that devastated southern Portugal across into southwest Spain.
Parque Nacional Donana in the Costa is the largest wildlife reserve in Europe. The Park is home to a large number of species which includes an enormous number of birds and the Iberian lynx, which is a carnivore unique to the Iberian Peninsula.
Costa de la Luz offers an average annual temperature of 20 degrees and sea temperatures of 17 degrees centigrade.
The sun shines for an impressive 3000 hours per year but on the Costa, the untiring, refreshing Atlantic breeze ensures that the heat is always comfortable and never stifling.
